With Appreciation and Acknowledgement

Earlier this month, we farewelled Carina Fraser, a Board member who has been with us for the past 18 months — a relatively short time, yet one where her presence has genuinely mattered.

During her time at our table, she brought fresh eyes, thoughtful questions, and a steady commitment to ensuring the People We Partner With remained firmly at the centre of our thinking. Her perspective helped us pause, reflect, and consider our work in new ways, particularly as ConneXu continued to grow and evolve.

Although Carina’s tenure was brief, her contribution has been meaningful. She supported us through important discussions, encouraged clarity in our decision-making, and offered insight grounded in genuine care for our partners, whānau, and team.

As Carina moves on from their governance role with ConneXu, we want to acknowledge the time, energy, and heart she shared with us. Her willingness to step in, get involved, and offer considered guidance has been appreciated.
