The Role

As a Regional Manager for both the Waikato/King Country and Bay of Plenty regions, you will be responsible for ensuring all current and new residential support services, across both regions, are provided in a way which aligns with ConneXu’s vision, mission and values. Ensuring a quality service meeting the specific requirements of the individual people we support whilst maintaining compliance with disability support service standards under the direction of the Executive Leader – Services and Development.

The Person

We are looking for an individual who excels in the management of competent leaders, is familiar with the disability and health sector. You will have knowledge of the Employment Relations Act and strive to lead a high performing team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Disability Sector and be familiar with the community challenges that arise when providing supports alongside people who pose challenging behaviour and/or live with a dual diagnosis.

We are seeking a person who has a passion for working in a team environment and in partnership with others. You will need a full New Zealand driver’s license and be prepared to work flexible hours. You will need to show initiative and be prepared to participate in emergency on call as required.

The successful Regional Manager will demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership, and staff development. They will be confident writing reports, analysing data and managing organizational policies and procedures. The candidate’s attention to detail and their ability to work with others will support their creativity and openness to creative solutions for people we support. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in disability support services, health and/or in working with people with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
